The kick off meeting of the GIEP project took place in Varese on November 29  and 30, 2012. The meeting represented the first opportunity to gather the partners and share vision and expectations by all sides.

The different partners presented the original idea of the project and the main objectives. The different WP leaders provided the descriptions of the Work Packages detailing activities, deliverables, time range and partners involved.

The rolling down of the different activities have been discussed within the two days, together with the discussion on the different steps to undertake for the development of the Project.

Administrative procedures and guidelines were also described, underlining the main procedures and budget assignations for the project.

First ideas on communication issues and characteristics of the future MSc were shared.

The meeting ended underlining the importance of two elements that need to be investigated: a better understanding of the Egyptian education system and a comprehensive understanding of the Bologna process and related issues.
